Birth Rights.

We hold these Truths to be self-evident: that all people, of every kind, nature, or description are born equally free and independent, and have certain natural, inherent, and unalienable rights, among which are those of enjoying and defending life and liberty, acquiring possessing and protecting property, and of pursuing and obtaining safety and happiness.

You are the EXCLUSIVE owner, custodian and trustee over your life, and justly acquired property. No one, or group of people, have any authority over your life or justly acquired property without your consent.

All people are free to live their lives as they see fit, so long as they do not trespass upon the rights of others. No person has the right to force their views or opinions on to others, but they do have the right to share and express them.

We adopt Article I. section 2. of the Maine Constitution which reads as follows: “All power is inherent in the people; all free governments are founded in their authority and instituted for their benefit; they have therefore an unalienable and indefeasible right to institute government, and to alter, reform, or totally change the same, when their safety and happiness require it.”

The safety and happiness of a free and independent people, requires public officials who swear oaths or affirmations to support the Constitution, to actually posses a comprehensive understanding of that document. And at the very lest, they should submit to public examination regarding their level of Constitutional competency, and integrity.
